What does an emergency plumber cost?
During the day we charge €95 for the call-out and the first half hour. In the evening, at night and at weekends it’s €145. After that you pay per quarter hour, with parts at the price on the receipt. You always hear the amount before we start.
How quickly can you be here?
In Haarlem during the day, usually within the hour. At night it depends on where the plumber on call lives, so count on 30 to 60 minutes. In Hoofddorp or IJmuiden it can take a little longer.
What should I do if there’s a leak?
Turn off the main stopcock (meter cupboard or crawl space), switch off the power if water is getting near sockets and take photos for the insurance. That’s all you need to do.
Will my insurance pay for the repair?
Damage to the floor or ceiling often yes, the repair of the pipe itself usually not. We write a short report with photos that you can send straight to your insurer.
Do you work with fixed prices?
For unblocking, a new toilet or a boiler, yes. With a leak we only know what's wrong once we've looked. After the inspection you get a price for the repair.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, the plumber carries a card reader. You can also pay by invoice, within 14 days.
Do you work at weekends?
For emergencies, always. Regular jobs are planned on weekdays and Saturday mornings.
